The Group is a leading provider for ocean freight and also operates dedicated airfreight charters on the South Africa route, delivering a unique product differentiation and enhancing service levels to clients.

Exclusive B-747 Full Freighter Chartered by Panalpina

In 1996, Panalpina introduced the Rainbow service from Luxembourg to Johannesburg. This integrated all-cargo airline/forwarder concept was a first to the South African market. As a dedicated service, it allows our clients to take advantage of the full charter concept, linked with the services of a first class carrier with the best reputation in the market. The service offers six scheduled B747 flights per week.

Panalpina has operated full charters to Africa for more than 20 years, providing wide body freighter capacity.
