At the PMR Africa (Professional Management Review) Johannesburg Business Leaders and Achievers Awards on 27 February, Safcor Panalpina received a gold award, scoring 4.2 out of a possible 5. The 160 respondents interviewed comprised logistics, operational and warehouse managers. These prestigious awards are referred to as a "Global Marketing Tool" and are an indication of competency with regards to customer service.
The respondents rated the freight forwarders in accordance to the following

- Track and trace / indent monitoring
- Value added solutions up and down the supply chain
